With the influx of buyers and consignments,
construction was needed for a complex that would
more adequately address the needs of a growing business.
The result was a multi-lane, modern facility complete
with a cafeteria, lounge and lobby, executive, clerical
and registration offices.
Dealers from a large area started coming to Syracuse,
in order to take part in CNY's increasingly strong
auctions. Success was credited in large part to
CNY's change to a night sale, but Mondore's emphasis
on providing superior customer service (with indifference
to dealer size) earned CNY the reputation of "The
Balanced Auction."
